I have now become a CVS addict. My sister Tiffany started doing this a few weeks back and I was skeptical at first. Who needs 20 deodrants, 20 toothpastes etc? Why would I pay money for these just to get the CVS bucks back? I should just pay out of pocket for the things I need. How wrong I was!! Yes, my first trip was $14 OOP (OOP=Out of pocket) but I earned $14 in Extra Care dollars (which can by used on anything in the store. But since that inital purchase, I don't think I have paid over $4 OOP. I try to buy the products that earned bucks that I know I will actually use so I don't have stuff just sitting around the house. The goal is to buy products that earn bucks and find a manufacture coupon to pair with it so you actually earn more dollars than you spend. So far, it has worked well.
My latest trip cost me $1.50 OOP. Here is what I got!
1 Gillette Razor reuseable(Shelf Price 9.99)
2 Degree deodorants (Shelf Price 5.00)
2 Dove deodorants (Shelf Price 5.00)
13 bags CVS candy (Shelf Price 11.44)
Bucks earned from this trip=$12.00
Bucks left to spend=$5.00
Total cost $1.50 Total Shelf Value=$31.39

Jeremy is brand loyal but now he is going to have to use whatever earns bucks!! Jeremy thinks I am a freak now because I try to find a coupon for anything I buy.
I went to Kmart last night because their MaxFactor makeup was Buy one get one free. Well, I had a manufacture coupon for Buy one get one free also which means I only have to pay sales tax. I was able to get two pressed powders normally $8.99 each for less than a dollar. Shelf price for two=$17.98 I paid less than a dollar total.
My name is Jaime and I am addicted to bargains, CVS and coupons!
