Family Night-sorta

Ethan and I went to see this:

While Jeremy went to see this:

We went as a family the night Kung Fu Panda came out but Ethan fell asleep about 15 minutes into the movie so we had to go see it again. Jeremy went to see the Hulk. I owed it to him as I scrapped the side of my car against a concrete pole at work today and he was kinda mad at me. Oh well, we can get it fixed at the same time they fix the side runner I scrapped on a metal pole driving into the parking garage at work. Hey, those are the only two things I have done to that car in 5 years so I think it is a pretty good track record.

Ethan played on the toys and ran through the water at the San Tan mall while we waited for Jeremy's movie to get over. I would have taken pictures but Ethan threw this 6 month old phone into the pool at grandma's house the other day. Thankfully, Jeremy can get me a replacement for free. Thanks Verizon.

We finished off the night with a butterscotch dipped cone from DQ. Go see Kung Fu Panda!! We will definitely be buying it when it comes out on DVD.

Happy Father's Day Jeremy

I have to post today because tomorrow I will be waiting hand and foot on my husband.
Jeremy is a great father to Ethan. Ethan loves to do whatever dad is doing especially if it has to do with the jeep. Jeremy took Ethan on his first off-road trip a few months ago and Ethan (and Jeremy) loved it. Ethan is his little buddy. Happy Father's Day Jeremy!! Ethan and I love you and appreciate all you do for our family! Have a fun and relaxing day!

Progress on the new house

The house is coming along. We were originally planning to move in July (our lease is up in July) but delays came up and Richmond American said it will August before it is done. I extended our lease one more month and now Richmond is saying it could be July again. I just want to move already. Here are the recent pictures!

CVS-I am addicted!!

I have now become a CVS addict. My sister Tiffany started doing this a few weeks back and I was skeptical at first. Who needs 20 deodrants, 20 toothpastes etc? Why would I pay money for these just to get the CVS bucks back? I should just pay out of pocket for the things I need. How wrong I was!! Yes, my first trip was $14 OOP (OOP=Out of pocket) but I earned $14 in Extra Care dollars (which can by used on anything in the store. But since that inital purchase, I don't think I have paid over $4 OOP. I try to buy the products that earned bucks that I know I will actually use so I don't have stuff just sitting around the house. The goal is to buy products that earn bucks and find a manufacture coupon to pair with it so you actually earn more dollars than you spend. So far, it has worked well.

My latest trip cost me $1.50 OOP. Here is what I got!
1 Gillette Razor reuseable(Shelf Price 9.99)
2 Degree deodorants (Shelf Price 5.00)
2 Dove deodorants (Shelf Price 5.00)
13 bags CVS candy (Shelf Price 11.44)
Bucks earned from this trip=$12.00
Bucks left to spend=$5.00
Total cost $1.50 Total Shelf Value=$31.39

Jeremy is brand loyal but now he is going to have to use whatever earns bucks!! Jeremy thinks I am a freak now because I try to find a coupon for anything I buy.
I went to Kmart last night because their MaxFactor makeup was Buy one get one free. Well, I had a manufacture coupon for Buy one get one free also which means I only have to pay sales tax. I was able to get two pressed powders normally $8.99 each for less than a dollar. Shelf price for two=$17.98 I paid less than a dollar total.

My name is Jaime and I am addicted to bargains, CVS and coupons!

Memorial Day

We didn't have big plans for Memorial Day this year. Jeremy had to work. Ethan and I went swimming over at grandma's with Tiffany, Wyatt and Aiden. He loves swimming. I made ribs, corn on the cob and rolls for dinner. It was so good. Here is a video of Ethan eating his corn.

Ethan loves Water

Ethan was outside playing with his pool and the hose while I was working on stripping the table I have been working on. Here are some cute pictures of him!
